Probably better to get the suit tailor made. Not expensive here.

Where we live the problem is the pipe in the development. It is too small. They lacked vision when they built it.
We wanted to pay extra for a commercial service. China Telecom refused to sell it to us, as our local infrastructure is not up to it.
NB
There is also China Unicom, another provider. I doubt if they are any better as there is no real competition in this market.
I don't know about real time, other than CCTV9. But msnbc.com is pretty up to date.
As is bbc.co.uk.
Both have video
There are no big chains that do bulk purchasing and pass on the discounts here.
There is BestBuy in China (not Kunming yet), but as they have no competition they are not passing on the savings.
There are also a lot of cameras for sale in the computer malls. But beware of fakes. I even saw a fake Cannon store in one city.
The camera shop on Beijing Lu near Ginko does have a reasonable selection of cameras. But there are lots of camera shops in every city.

I will be applying for a Z visa.
Am I correct in thinking that travel agent in KMG can do this, or is this a travel agent in HK?
Do I still have to physically leave China?
Sorry for asking dumb questions.

Great to know it is no longer dry.
Good review BTW
This has moved.
The cut flowers are about 700m east on Duonan Jie. The plants and trees are about 700 m west and follow Duocai Section.
A reasonable choice of lumber that has improved over time. Fancy hardwoods like walnut, and mahogany are in abundance. There are some plywood and rubber-wood boards available. There are also some kiln dried imported softwoods and merbao available. Some of the lumber is very green, so look for the kiln dried if you need stable timbers.
Echo everything said by others.
Breakfast great and the serve from 8am. Most other places say 9am and they still are not ready.
Sandwiches are cheap 22-32, and really packed full of filling. We got some sandwiches for a day out, the only mistake I made was ordering two, as this was too much. These are seriously good sangars, and they are wrapped in alu foil.
In fairness to Metro, they are a wholesalers, and not really a supermarket. Hence the need for a card, which can be got around.
They have improved in the year I have been away. They now carry a more consistent range of imported foodstuffs and they also seem to have sorted out the mported milk supply.
They have a wider range of electrical appliances now, there is a coice of more than one toast. There is also a better range of seasonal non foods, like clothes, shoes, garden furniture and camping gear.
Governor: Provincial highway bathrooms China's worst
Posted byThey know how to flush, they just don't want to because the toilet is a dirty place. Self fulfilling cycle. But hey! it then becomes someone elses problem.

Jinghong farmer trampled to death by elephant
Posted byThe problem is not the elephants. Sadly the authorities will see the opposite.
Massive financial center announced for Wujiaba
Posted byI think the airport mentioned here will be for heliport and small private planes of the corporate variety.
This may be linked up to the plans for the area east of Dianchi Lu and north of Guangfu Lu that was previously earmarked for new financial district.
BUT at least Shanghai Tongji know what they are doing. It just depends on whether the local gumint will listen to their advice.
Report: Yunnan bonds shaky
Posted byThe non protected thing was the issue with HuaXia Bank scandal. It was likened to a Ponzi. People lost huge amounts and it killed the market.
CMB is big enough to have the assets to cover any potential losses, and has decided that the only way to have a wealth management product that sells is to guarantee the principle. To not honor the promise would be damaging to the CMB brand and would cost them more money than swallowing the loss.
IMHO. Because of the nature of CMB's core business, and their place in the market, they can be trusted. Unlike smaller banks like HuaXia.
