We had the same problem with my extra large fingers, but they did a special order that was reasonably priced.

When we've applied for VISA extension here the form allowed us to put in the requested expiry date, so you would not just be restricted to 30 or 60 days.
I'm interested (as are others) about where the PSB might be relocated since we'll need to extend VISAS again in a few months. I'll be downtown today and will see if I can get any info.
When the smoking bans started in Canada there was initial reaction claiming that business would suffer. Turns out the non-smokers could now go into these places comfortably and the smokers who wanted to eat or drink did so, then left space for others. In the end business did not suffer at all.
I'm surprised though that the rules are changing from wide open smoking to no smoking. I'm a non-smoker myself but would easily have settled for segregated areas with proper ventilation.
The PLA and anything else with a white plate are actually exempted from the traffic laws - and they know it!
@rejected_goods - they drive the same in Kunming as in Beijing!
On a further note, I've always been annoyed by the drivers who would change lanes BEFORE they had fully passed you. Last night a bus (tow bus?) did that right beside us! It's good that new cars have folding mirrors because ours folded, but there was still damage to the bumper.
In Toronto my wife was one of the safest drivers I knew. In Kunming I'm afraid to drive with her!
I think part of the problem is the rule that the person who hits another is at fault, regardless of who is actually at fault. If the insurance companies got into the act to cut losses it might actually help.

Had my first ever visit to Slice of Heaven last night for a group party. Barbara recognized me as a newcomer and immediately came to welcome me and introduce herself.
While speaking with her at the counter, a server walked past with a pizza for one table. The aroma immediately caught my attention. It was awesome.
Our group shared 4 different pizzas. All were amazing. I think the sauce really makes the difference since it was very flavourful. I also put back to cups of cappuccino. I guess they must have fixed problems noted in other reviews because I found it to be quite good.
If I lived closer I would be a regular here.
Yuxi-Mengzi: China's newest railway
Posted byGeezer, here's a quote from the article: "This is a good thing. Being able to board the new train directly at Kunming's main train station"

Posted byThere are two types of dialysis machines. My mother had a peritoneal machine in her home. It used the same kind of water used in IV drips, but in much larger bags. A nurse came to her home each evening to connect it and each morning to disconnect. There was some surgery required to insert the connections in her abdomen.
When that was no longer working they chose to go with hemodialysis, but they would not do that at home - only hospital. I don't know if that has changed in the past 10 years.

How bad is Kunming's air?
Posted byI flew into Kunming Sunday afternoon. There were fluffy white clouds, all nestled in a sea of grey. It was not pretty.
