We're looking to hire one or two cleaning ladies to come to our apartment twice a week to help us with keeping the place tidy. Basically washing dishes, mopping the floors, running the laundry, dusting, etc. Is there anyone here who has a cleaning lady they can recommend? Thanks...

For setting up our apartment, we're looking for some spots to find cheap rugs. Cuttings of wall-to-wall carpeting would be great too. Used rugs would be great.
Haven't turned up anything at the second-hand market in the northwest of the city, maybe I'm not looking in the right place?

We're new to the city and still getting our bearings. One of the best changes from Shanghai to Kunming is that there seems to be a lot more opportunities for street food vendors here. (Shanghai has pushed them into the margins of the city)
I'm wondering if Kunming has some spots where you can find Vietnamese, Lao, Thai... Burmese?? street food. Like pho stands, fresh spring rolls, maybe even papaya salad? Stuff like that... quick eats.
So far I've only noticed the street stuff in back of Carrefour, where there are some great hotpot and noodle vendors, but I didn't spot any spring rolls.
