Hi no_way,

I already have a plane ticket for my way home... and it's from beijing to canada. I see what you're saying..I can go to thailand..and then fly to Beijing for my flight back home...it's a good idea but it's too risky for me..with delays in airports......any other ideas?

Hi,

My china travel visa is only for 1 entry into china...so does that mean it's impossible for me to travel to thailand? I have 2 months left in Kunming and would like to spend a week or so in Thailand. I need to come back to China for my flight back to Canada.

I've been attending interviews...and I'm still not exactly sure what the average salary is for local people in Kunming..it's a local chinese company so they are paying in Yuan...I'm from north america so the money is not going to be enough. But if I stay long term (a year) then do you think it would be reasonable? is 5000 rmb/month satisfactory? or low? it's a full time teaching dance job 4 hrs a day plus extra time for class preparation..so I guess it would be 4-6 hours plus rehearsal hr..

Is it worth it? the money converted to Dollars is definitely not enough...but for a life one year in kunming...do you think it's ok? I just wanna make sure I"m not being scammed into a low wage.
