I called "Tin Tin","Lia", "Jasmine", "Wei Li" in the days following our unpaid-show...then I gave up...I am a student and therefore should not be working, otherwise I would have called the police. I only write here to warn others; I have no other motives. Thank you and beware of this agent.
If you think "Jasmine" is bad then you should definetly stay away from "Leah". She changes her english names sometimes to avoid her reputation catching up to her. She actually also even goes by "Jasmine" and various Chinese names! She owes my old band 2,000rmb and also failed to pay a friend's band the same amount. Her phone# is 13987135400. Beatrice is a little silly because she doesn't really want to expose her dishonest agent!!! Why protect these cheaters?!? Turn the other cheek?!? If you all have no problem working for these liars and scoundrels; Go For It! I personally would like to see these dishonest people put out of business...One agent that has been good to us is ChenChen; quite honest and highly recommended! STAND UP TO THESE PEOPLE! DON'T CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROBLEM!
Watch out for these characters! I went to their campus and met with their "bosses" about getting a student visa. I spoke with two older males and their female secretary. Their first objective was to test my knowledge of Mandarin and various prices and rates for things like visas, school fees and teachers' salaries. I played a little dumb just to get a feel for their level of honesty. They tried to dupe me left and right thinking I couldn't understand Mandarin! What they really wanted was a "teacher" who would get them foreign students on a strange comission pay rate. They kept re-adjusting their rates as they started discovering that I knew what they were up to. In the end I figured that I would be working for them for free. Extremely rude people who would speak to each other in Mandarin about some scheme and then turn to me and say, "you didn't understand that, did you?" I just told them they were quite special and walked out on them. I would DEFINETLY stay away from anything related to PASI.
Laotou's post is (inadverently) hilarious on many levels but I definetly agree with Danmairen that being gazed at like cattle is reserved for foreigners. nnoble; are you serious? do you have to bring that politically correct B.S. here? On another note I'd have to say that of all the larger cities I've been to in China, Kunming has some of the best girls maybe just because they're approachable and nice.

P.S. They really wanted to get their hands on my passport!
