Re LinaM. Every morning there are many people practicing Tai Ji (did i spell it right?) and some other sport using swords. Would be nice to skate there at night. The place is lit, and relatively empty. Just watch out for the marble tiles, slippery stuff if you're skating. Please don't hurt yourself or everyone is banned from skating there!
Did you find any good skates? I used to ice skate, I suppose inline skating won't be too difficult for me to learn.

A simple, polite no thanks would do... I don't see any harm done, he doesn't look dangerous from your description. Maybe he would end up marrying one of you.
