if i were you i wont give it to others. it's the same as you abadon him. just keep it, though he would live a poor life with you (because you have no time to take care of him) but he still live you, he is your pet right? he wont give you a call asking you to cook meal for him, whenever you get home get him something to eat, that's okay! just dont be regret if a transfer caused him dead or disease...
