Forums > Living in Kunming > Shirts: Buying or having them made Hello all.
Is there anywhere in Kunming where it makes sense to have nice business shirts made, or simply purchased off the shelf?
Is it any cheaper than doing the same in the U.S. or Europe?
I have heard of people getting nice shirts and even suits made on the cheap in South East Asia, but not sure if the same thing can be done in Kunming.
Thanks for any advice. If it's not especially any cheaper then I'll just wait until I'm back states-side.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Camera Shops in Kunming Hello, I want to buy a nice new comfortable camera strap for my DSLR that does't chop my head off when I carry the the camera around all day.
Does anyone know of a camera shop in kunming with a good selection?

Forums > Living in Kunming > Good quality photo print shop Anyone know a good quality photo print shop around town?
I have some pics from my digital camera that I would like to have printed out. It's a DSLR so I would like to be able to print them on good paper and possibly fairly large.
Any tips appreciated!

Forums > Living in Kunming > Buying external speakers for a laptop Hey guys, just looking for a way to listen to music from my laptop via external speakers.
Anyone have a pair they bought here in Kunming that they would recommend? Where should I go to pick them up?
I've only been here for 3 weekends so far. I feel like I've only been to walmart etc for the essentials, temples, and parks!
Thanks for any advice!

Forums > Living in Kunming > Suggested Walking Routes in Kunming? Hey everyone, so I'm here in Kunming now!
It's a lot nicer than I expected!
Can you all suggest some simple walking routes, tours if you will, that I could go on to see a bit of the city and get myself oriented?
I went to that bird and flower market sort of near walmart the other day, that was a nice little outing.
If the weather is nice tomorrow I might try to go to green lake and check it out. I hear it's nice.
I also had some over-the-bridge noodles at a famous place recommended by my teacher. ???新園 or something like that. Good stuff.
Any other recommendations appreciated!
