I think the OP was just asking about water rationing caused by the lack of, decrease, or increase in rainfall - not a definition of the word Drought. Easy to understand since the last few years have seen a decrease in the average rainfall for Kunming. I would not care about how much rainfall there is in Xishuangbanna or how much water there is in the rivers in Nujiang if my water was cut off during certain hours of the day here in Kunming.
Comedy or Coincidence - Wade Michael Page - was living in Wisconsin but was originally from Colorado. He worked for the U.S. Army from 1992 - 1998. Page was initially a repairman for the Hawk missile system, before becoming a Psychological Operations Specialist.
Wade is the Lone gunman responsible for the Sikh Shooting - from Colorado and he is a 37F PsyOp specialist - Hehe
Also, Chavis Carter, arrested, searched twice, hancuffed behind his back - shot himself in the head - police car video shows beginning and end of video but middle is missing - Hehe.
Yes, only Freud or a genius can realize someone here is not telling the truth.
Once again, I cut and paste my original post - so that you can read the complete sentence. OR - is a conjunction so it is still part of the original sentence. Once again you focus on the TV show but ignore - anyone with a counseling or psychology background. Also can include any good parent who can tell when their kids are not telling the truth.
Anyone who has watched just a few episodes of Lie To Me, or anyone with a counseling or psychology background, can easily see that Chief Oates is lieing. His demeanor, affect, body language, change in posture, when receiving and answering and avoiding questions is very clear.
This is NOT a debate about what credentials are needed for a court of law to be recognized as a EXPERT witness. The average layman can clearly see that Chief Oates is not telling the truth.
Weishan has got to be one of the most original places left in Yunnan. Not commercialized and people are kind and not out for money.
Jianchuan was also the same but now that the highway runs right through it has already changed. Same for Shaxi and Shuang Lang in Dali.
Visit Weishan while you can. Great place to go and just hang out and relax, Wei Bao Shan is 11 km away. I like it because you can see all the temples by walking in a circle without having to backtrack. Much better than Shi Bao Shan in JianChuan, Dali.
The new airport is roughly 25 kilometers south of the lakeshore - Those nasty taxi drivers are sure going to make a killing. Of course, they will NOT use the meter.
The train sure does sound like a good idea - In that time, a branch railway along the recently opened Kunming-Hekou line will be extended 500 kilometers south to the border town of Mohan (磨憨) in Mengla County. When finished, the railway will pass from Yuxi through Pu'er, Jinghong and Mohan
Unfortunately, the map provided with the locations of fracking is very small and I can not make out the names of the locations. However, one can see that they are in the SE of Sichuan.
I will take some time later to make out the exact locations and provide the names of the prefectures and counties they are located in.
For those who are not aware, this is the juncture of the Min and Yangtze Rivers. Above Yibin, the Yangtze is also known as the Jinsha River. Below Yibin, the Yangtze is known in Chinese as the Chang Jiang or "Long River."
The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
