Anyone interested in a movie or video exchange? I am looking for some old classics as well as some recent videos and movies. Many of the websites I used to download movies have recently been shut down. Let me know what you are looking for.

Examples:

The Believer - 2001
Unlawful Killing - 2011
Taras Bulba - 1963
Of Mice and Men - 1992
Queen of the Sun - 2010
King of Kings - 1961
Circle of Iron - 1978

Forums > Living in Kunming > Qujing - worth visiting?

Reminds me of the foreigner guy a few years back who boasted on the internet about all the women he conquered. Boast = To talk with too much pride about something you have or can do. Isn't this called Kiss and Tell?

Although Qujing City does not have much to see there are some great places to visit outside the city. The Sand Forest and 9 Dragon Waterfall are great places to visit.

Forums > Living in Kunming > Evaluation System for Foreign Language Expert

Now that we have some actual facts (specific schools) we can begin to pinpoint who exactly is requesting this evaluation, and maybe who is Not requesting this evaluation.

I find it curious that the person who originated this post also has 2 classifieds for recruitment of ACT teachers.

This last post seems very suspicious to me. I wonder why this post was revived from May 10 by someone who who is making their very first post. Also, when the link is clicked it does Not open. Interesting?

Weishan has got to be one of the most original places left in Yunnan. Not commercialized and people are kind and not out for money.

Jianchuan was also the same but now that the highway runs right through it has already changed. Same for Shaxi and Shuang Lang in Dali.

Visit Weishan while you can. Great place to go and just hang out and relax, Wei Bao Shan is 11 km away. I like it because you can see all the temples by walking in a circle without having to backtrack. Much better than Shi Bao Shan in JianChuan, Dali.

The train sure does sound like a good idea - In that time, a branch railway along the recently opened Kunming-Hekou line will be extended 500 kilometers south to the border town of Mohan (磨憨) in Mengla County. When finished, the railway will pass from Yuxi through Pu'er, Jinghong and Mohan

Unfortunately, the map provided with the locations of fracking is very small and I can not make out the names of the locations. However, one can see that they are in the SE of Sichuan.

I will take some time later to make out the exact locations and provide the names of the prefectures and counties they are located in.

For those who are not aware, this is the juncture of the Min and Yangtze Rivers. Above Yibin, the Yangtze is also known as the Jinsha River. Below Yibin, the Yangtze is known in Chinese as the Chang Jiang or "Long River."

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
