Ritta - Glad to see that someone cares about this. It is unfortunate that many young chinese people pay more attention to Feb 14 (western) rather then their own holidays. Feb 14 is very commercialized so more people are reminded of this day as opposed to 7/7. I wish China can Forget or Ignore Feb 14 altogether. Same goes for Xmas and Santa Claus.

@laotou - Well stated. - USA = 300 Million + China = 1.3 Billion
Prison population? Violent Crime? Mental Illness? Drug abuse? Population on Psychotropic Drugs? Effectiveness of Education? Govt Corruption? Wars of Aggression? Mass Shootings? Police Brutality? This is exactly why more and more foreigners want to come to China - to get away from all this.

Anyone who has watched just a few episodes of Lie To Me, or anyone with a counseling or psycholgy background, can easily see that Chief Oates is lieing. His demeanor, affect, body language, change in posture, when receiving and answering and avoiding questions is very clear.

The old museum is a Provincial level historical site of Wu Hua District. You will notice a black stone marker to the right of the museum. It will remain in place and be protected.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
