Forums > Living in Kunming > Is living in China hazardous to your health?

The title of this thread is - Is living in China hazardous to your health? I believe there are more than just environmental issues to this question such as air and noise pollution as stated above.

When choosing a place to live I am sure that most people have many different aspects of life to consider in making this choice. For example safety issues, social problems, environment, cost of living and many others.

My question is: Why are more and more westerners coming to China and what Push-Pull factors are involved? In other words, what pushes you out of your native country and what pulls you into China?

Also, this question depends on one's point of view. Is living in China more or less hazardous to your health then living in another country?

I think this will be a more realistic way of answering this question rather than focusing on just one aspect.

Natsymir,

One of the problems of using this forum for serious topics is that anyone can reply and confuse you even more regarding your question.

I recommend you use your own intellect in this matter and ask yourself some questions as well as do a little research rather then rely on the comments of strangers Like me - I am a stranger - so research on your own and come to your own conclusions.

Ask yourself, why is Bill Gates the largest donor to the World Health Organization? Why does Bill Gates go to African countries and donate millions in vaccines but does NOT bring a single grain of rice nor a loaf of bread to a starving population. I guess thats what the starving Somalis needed last year in the midst of starvation and war - vaccines - not food.

Please go to the CDC office on Dong Si Jie as they collect information on all epidemics in Yunnan. Find out how many cases of encephilities occured in the last few months or the last few years. You will be surprised to find the answer is NONE. Yet with a litle research you can easily find many cases of people from all walks of life who have adverse reactions as well as fatal reactions. These statistics however are not compiled by the CDC or any other organization.

I am a retired 20 year veteran who had literally over 100 vaccinations in my 20 year career. While in Japan, I received the wonderful encephilities vaccines although there were no active cases any where i the country. Days after the vaccine, I got Bells Palsy. Of course, the doctors denied this was due to the vaccine although several others had the same reaction.

Someone mentioned that the doctor in the UK lost his license because of his anti-vaccine campaign - yes - this is true - he lost his license - but just use simple logic and follow other cases of doctors and scientists who have been criticized, framed, suicided, jailed on ridiculous charges, and so on. Ask yourself why several doctors who have cured cancer now have a practice in Tijuana, Mexico, just accross the US border because they no longer can practice in the USA - such as Hulda Clark, Max Gerson, and many others. Or Dr. Burzynski who has been dragged to court 5 times by the FDA although each case has been dismissed each time.

Another person commented that China has higher exposure to disease. You can easily confirm all these reports on your own by contacting the CDC personally. On the contrary, you will find that China, who has 5 times the population of the USA has LESS illness. Ironic that with 5 times the population, China has less percentage and less total numbers then the USA. Dont beleive me - just research yourself and come to your own conclusions.

If you would liike some videos on this topic I will gladly pass them on to you - good luck

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
