Forums > Travel Yunnan > Has anyone been to Chishui, Guizhou?

:) All the way from Guangdong but missed the most crucial statements.

1 - but can't really find much...

2 - Any info will be greatly appreciated.
3 - what's worth visiting and what is not

I can't wait for the Thumbs up/down counter to be installed so everyone can see who is bored and has nothing else to do.

This is a perfect example of the thumbs feature - positive contributions to the OPs question receives thumbs down while a meaningless comments that do not contribute to the OPs question receives thumbs up - The feature does not take into consideration the low level maturity of the users.

Like the anonymous person who went 4 years into the past to give thumbs down to a poster - very mature!

Yes, I realize the edit button only works until the next person makes a comment.

However, I am pointing out to you that it does not work all the time - As you can clearly see in this thread, I posted 2 consecutive comments because the Edit button was not working. In other words, I should not have to make a new comment if the edit button was working.

Mike, I have been slowly but surely going to all the historic towns and villages on the Cha Ma Gu Dao.

I also got some good videos about the Tea Horse Road but they are in Chinese. I got them from the CCTV website.

I have NOT found a complete list as of yet but I am slowly compiling a list of my own.

As for the historic bridges, they are also located on or near the historic towns listed above.

This website lists all the historical places in Yunnan. There are a few bridges here as well.

Is this guy a millionaire? How does he fund all these expeditions? Airfare alone would bankrupt the average person.

In just over 18 months spanning 2006 and 2007, Jin summited the tallest peak on every continent and reached both the north and south poles. He also became the first Chinese person to walk across Greenland and then, perhaps to warm himself up, crossed the Sahara Desert on foot. He still has plans to become China's first space tourist

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
