Forums > Travel Yunnan > Pu Zhe Hei - Wenshan Scam I have visted Pu Zhe Hei many times in the last 8 years and and I have watched the ticket prices go up from 60 Yuan to 100 Yuan, to 160 Yuan and now to 200 Yuan. I know because I always keep my ticket stubs.
The 200 price includes a 30 minute boat ride on the river and entrance to 3 caves. I only discovered on my last trip that one does NOT have to purchase any tickets to get inside. The tickets are only for the boat ride and the caves.
Anyone can walk and take pictures anywhere without purchasing the tickets and there is no one to ask to show your tickets. I usually arrive in Qiu Bei in the evening drive 30 minutes to Pu Zhe Hei and get a room at any of the guesthouses there. In the morning I am free to roam where I please and I have no need to purchase any tickets.

Forums > Living in Kunming > GoKunming feedback Wow!!! that was fast - Why verification?
In the near future GoKunming will require all users to verify their email address to prevent fake account registrations and spam.
Yesterday afternoon I wrote to the GoKunming staff regarding this same question I posted above. When I tried to post the above comment a few minutes ago I was surprised to see this new verification.
Although I did not receive an answer to my question yesterday I feel this new process has answered my question.
I still have the same question as AlexKMG about deleting posts without notification. A locked thread can still be read and the last statement at the bottom reads locked thread. No reason is required, this is the right of the GoKunming staff and in most cases the reason for the locked thread is self evident - stupidity. But when posts are deleted, there is no way to see them again and no reason is given.
Forums > Living in Kunming > GoKunming feedback @AlexKMG - "Whats this about deleting posts???" I am Not a computer guru so I hope someone can help me with a reply. I am wondering if the moderators of this forum know when a user creates multiple usernames?
I have been in Kunming for 7 years and have this same account since 2009. Since then I only made 43 posts to this forum but in the last month I have jumped to over 90, most of which I directed to Crazy.Laowai and pleaded with him in one case to stop his rantings because I noticed his posts were getting locked and made numerous comments about increasing censorship.
Back to my question - Is this the same person creating new accounts?
Can WE, the public be informed who they are as they have already been banned? Will this violate their privacy? I directed my question to you Alex because you previously inquired about deleted posts without notification which can longer be found.

Posted byThe agenda is very clear as it is clear to what is happening in the last few decades all over the world; To normalize the abnormal. For those who still have the courage to call a spade a spade, I applaud you. For the corwards who hide behind political correctness, you have that right, just as those who state the obvious have a right to free speech on this forum. If this was an article on the Rocky Horror Picture Show coming to China, then the attire is appropriate. This person obviously wanted attention, well he got it. Once again the same issue comes to surface. All humans have the right to do as they please as long as they are not harming others. Clearly, this man has the right to dress as he pleases because he is NOT harming anyone. People have the right to keep private what is private just as they have the right to make public those things which are private. It is obvious that this man knew exactly what he was doing when he submitted this picture. The agenda is clear whether you agree or not. He wanted attention and he got it. If he usually dresses like this in public as some people here have already mentioned than it is not the first time and he knows exactly what he is doing and he does this on purpose and with a goal in mind.

Posted byBjtokm - I agree with you and your comments as your are merely pointing out the obvious, the pink elephant in the living room, the emperor with no clothes, or the man dressed in drag. I see no judgement made on your part. You just were the first to make an observation. The name calling began when others started calling you childish and unintelligent. As for the ridiculous comment about you putting your own picture online, I find that comment irrelevant and absurd. I am sure if you posted your picture online you would not put a picture of you in your underwear, or naked or dressed in drag. You never mocked the appearance of this person you just asked a very obvious question.
Kunming ranks fifth nationally in expat poll
Posted byWell said Geogramatt! I have been living in KMG for 10 years and there is so much to see here. I just got back from Mengzi and the old train stations there are wonderful. Great for those who love history and trains.
