Went to dinner at Greenery Cafe the other day. Saw a party of 10 at another large table. After they were done eating all 10 of them were playing with their phones and not a single person was speaking to another at the table. So ridiculous, I took a picture of them and they all happily smiled not realizing how stupid they all looked to me.

This morning, there was a mother and her 14 y/o son at the basketball court in our residential quarter. They were playing badmington together. However, her son had a racket in one hand and phone in the other. What a fool (both of them).

After playing badmington, they started jogging around the perimeter of the court. Again, the kid running and looking at phone at the same time. Finally, the mother started wrestling the phone out of the kids hand at which time I applauded her.

Can't even count the times I have seen parents give their kids a phone to play with so they will not be bothered. As young as 6 months old, as though it was a toy or a rattle or pacifier.

When I see women in the bus who nearly falls down because they can not hold on while the bus is braking because they have a bag in one hand and a phone in the other - Soooo stupid. Saw a woman actually fall down just the other day - Haha! Shame did not break her neck.

What does all this have to do with wechat - just another tool for the fools!

Every person now carries the largest library in the world in their pocket or bag but 95% of them just use it for entertainment purposes rather than actually learning something. The more technologu they have the more ignorant they become. Makes them easier to control - Haha! Stupid slaves.

Many advertisements where people only leave their wechat as a contact - they are so stupid and assume 100% of the population uses wechat.

Also, very stupid to put all of ones private info for all to see. Their day will come and they will be crying for privacy in no time soon.

I have 2 balconies in my apartment so I have a small garden. I compost all my vegetable waste and I feed it to the worms in my worm garden. Over the years I have put all this into the red Yunnan dirt that I got from outside and now my soil is rich, loose and black.

Even wiki is equally inept - The Ludila Dam is an under construction gravity dam on the Jinsha River near Lijiang in Yunnan province, China. Construction on the dam began in 2007 and was halted in June 2009 by the Ministry of Environmental Protection after it was being constructed without approval.

Near Lijiang? I can name at least 3 prefectures in Yunnan that are near Lijiang.

Nothing annoys me more than reading an article that does not clearly answer the 5Ws. When the reader has more questions after reading an article that is proof to me of poor writing.

Is this dam in Lijiang or Dali? I am sure this dam has to belong to a certain county.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
