Look at what the moderators recently added - this is something that was NEVER done before - Forums that veer wildly off topic, devolve into attacks on individuals or groups of people or use abusive language will be removed at the Moderator's discretion. Please remain respectful at all times.

I replied to you with 9 paragraphs. Please read the remaining 7 paragraphs.

Here is your first post about scooters mods dated May 14 - Any scooter fanatics know where I can get some scooter mods done, especially adding lights for safety?

Here is your post about Chinese who hate foreigners - This thread was locked - probably because it is so absurd - With all of this Beijing anti-foreigner stuff, it makes me wonder. Do most Chinese hate me? Lots? Some? Few?

Look at what Scally has to say when you use this forum to send private messages - Notice to all users: when attempting to contact a single individual, like the above post, please use the personal messaging system. Select a user's name and then click on the 'send a private message' link. Thanks.

Look at what debaser has to say to you on the wicker basket post - Crazy.laowai, both tigertiger and I have posted links to two of the WB locations. both pages have (google) maps. the other location is in beichen/the north and far from Guandu. did you even check the links or could it be that you are a troll?? as others have mentioned, you and Gaoxin are similar in some ways and you both remind me of BillDan. maybe you have a problem.

Look at what Danmairen has to say - Has anyone considered that Crazy.Laowai might be a troll? He's been writing slightly off posts and threads since before he (supposedly) came to Yunnan. Also, he seems to be running into an awful lot of trouble ("Help me buy a scooter!", "Want to pay 100 kuai for a Chinese tutor", "Kunming this and Kunming that", I'm sure you can find more examples easily on his posting history). To be honest, some of his writing reminds me of Gaoxing but of course from a different angle. He's either a bit weird or a troll IMO.

I thank you for inquiring to me directly. I believe asking is the best way to become informed rather then guessing or jumping to conclusions.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with your inital question. The problem was when you made the second remark. Because no one replied to your question, the post eventually made its way to the second page. Obviously, you did not like this, so you wrote BUMP to make the post climb back up to the top.

Ask yourself, what was your purpose for the second remark? If your question was legitimate, why did you NEED to put a second remark that has no meaning or purpose.

I hope this explains clearly. My other 2 replies are more detailed. They can help you understand the effect you are having on others who use this forum. I think your other posts are better examples and you need to look at all of them collectvely rather then just looking at this one post in isolation. Please look at all your posts not just this one specifically. Also, look at the replies from other members. Ask yourself, why are they so sarcastic to you? Do you see such sarcasm in other posts? Or is the sarcasm only directed to you? If so, why.

Also, go see how many of your other posts have been locked out. Ask yourself why or better yet, ask the moderators to explain why they locked you out.

I HATE censorship, I believe that everyone has the RIGHT to say anything they want as long as they are not hurting anyone else. Your posts do NOT harm others. However, the new staff at GK are not the same as the previous staff. I have never seen a thread locked before. There was no censorship before. But now, I see censorship. I can understand why the new staff is doing this. I understand their reasons, but I do NOT like it. Please try to understand that when you make remarks that they dont like, it has an effect on all of us. Once the censorship begins, it will continue and get more severe. The we all will eventually lose this wonderful resource.

I hope this helps you to understand the big picture. I repeat again, you are NOT harming anyone directly. But if your remarks cause the staff to begin to lock=censor - then we are all being harmed.

I hope you have time to meet face to face and ask about this if we do meet as was suggested in another post. I think it will benefit you greatly to hear what others have to say.

I have answered you honestly, rationally, logically and respectfully, so I hope this helps you to understand. Good luck

Please do a recon of the train and the new airport and surrounding area on June 29, and then let us all know what you discovered. Nothing beats a dry run of your trip to the airport to know exactly what to expect. I am eager to learn of your experiences.

I dont know others' schedules but I prefer Salvadors and I prefer weekdays rather then weekends. Preferably during NON-peak hours - (0900-1100) or (1400-1600).

What a catastrophe! Recently visited Nanning, Guangxi which also has a bike program. All the bikes are uniform in color (Orange) and there is 1 type of payment method. They are neatly placed in bike racks all over the city. They come in clusters of 20 and they are found at every subway station in groups of 20, 40, and 60 depending on location. There are cameras mounted on either side of the bike racks for safety and supervision. People can easily find the bike racks and use the bikes and return them to conveniently located bike racks in other parts of the city.

Kunming has 3 types of bikes and 3 types of payment. There are very few bike racks so there are no central locations to get a bike if you need them. I live at the edge of the city in a village and there are bikes scattered everywhere. The people here use them, drive them home and park the bike it in front of their door where no one else can use them. They now have their own private bikes that they can use and abuse and when it gets destroyed they just go get another one. The bike sits idle all day until that person (Temporary owner) is ready to use it again. Kunming should learn from the many other cities that use bikes and create a system that serves all. I am sure the companies who operate these bikes will lose a lot of money from this program.

I enjoy reading the articles on this site but what really drives me nuts is when the article does not clearly state where this place is located - a basic essential in writing - missing.

Village name is great - how about a county and a prefecture along with that.

Very annoying and NOT the first time.

1 - Once the image was published on Chinese social media the firestorm began, and continues unabated nearly two weeks later.

2 - although some more vocal microbloggers have called for a police investigation and arrests.

I can teach reading and comprehension for a small fee.

The new Visa office is located at 118 Tuo Dong Road. There is no number on the building yet so do not bother to look for it. There are 2 passport photo shops on either side of the building. The office is located directly in front of the Kunming Museum. The bus stop is named - Shi Bo Wu Guan - Bus 1, 62, 109, 117, 145, 213, A1 and K3 stop directly in front of the office. Foreigners need to go to the 3rd floor. The Tuo Dong Stadium is located to the right of the office while Baita Road is located to the left of the office.
