Forums > Living in Kunming > Verification Yes, this is definitely a great start and it will reduce the BS factor greatly. I checked your profile blobbles and I can see that you have verified your email.
I am just wondering why some users still comment here in the last 2 days but do NOT verify? What reasons would they have for not verifying?
Forums > Study > schools where to learn / teach SPANISH? Teaching Spanish or English or working without a work Visa is illegal in China.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Verification I just realized that anyone can still write and reply to a post here even if they have NOT verified their email address.
Forums > Living in Kunming > Anyone replace a Chinese style with Western Toilet You need a good worker who will do the job right. Main problem is that when they install the new western toilet, they dont seal the old large whole properly and then you have leaking into the neighbors ceiling. Then you have to pay someone else to do it all over again.
I watch workers all day because they want to save on materials. They will do a (8:1) sand:cement mix and they fill it with broken brick to use less cement. This is worthless because the sand and brick absorb water and it will leak 1 year later.

Around Town: Wanda Twin Towers
Posted byI went to the construction site of the Wanda Towers in march 2013 to photograph a tiny temple - Tian Zi Miao in what was then called Tan Jia Ying Village. The tiny temple remained as construction proceeded and miraculously it survives to this day or at least until June 2015 when I was there.
I have to give the developers credit for not destroying the tiny temple. Lets hope it remains.
The temple is directly behind the towers near the corner of Qian Xing Road + Lu Yin Ave.
