I am wondering if anyone has contacts or "guanxi" at the Harbour Plaza Hotel? My parents are coming to visit from May 13th - 24th and they want to go there, and I want to see if I can get a good price for them. Any information or help is appreciated.

Hi everyone. I posted to see if anyone had a no longer used or cheap bike, but no takers :-( So now I would like to know if anyone knows of a good bike brand to get (I am currently tending towards Giant but they are more expensive), and if you have a preferred place to get one. Also what kind of lock, as I have heard that theft is rife.

Does anyone know how to get caller ID activated on a mobile? I have a 159 number if that helps, and it is through China Mobile. I don't know what plan it's on, I just went to the local CM store and asked for a "simka". Not surprisingly, none of the English-Chinese dictionaries I have can tell me what is the pinyin for "caller ID"!!
