The fact this Thai Visa thread veered off its tuk tuk axles, we've become as culpable as spammers & bots in pooping up the party lol... lets move.

Not 100% sure, but I don't think @vikalina is a fake. Just a person who doesn't know what he or she wants... i'd give these new members benefit of doubt...
granted many fake threads exist as setup for spam opportunists to plug their own products & services free of charge. TBH, their feeble attempts at advertisement are futile, like the Chinese spam bots that plague the forums.
I agree, they can be annoying. Some spams you can smell a mile away. Others not so obvious are more aggravating because they mislead well intentioned posters who waste their time to help only to be duped.
However, true toxicity of community are not these spammers, but forumites who spew negativity at every turn. Trying to police them is also futile IMO.
Solution? Embrace them with compassion like your own naughty child. Treat your nemesis as your guru, as his h0liness once taught.
Keen observation @herenow. But too much of a headache to police all the spammers.
As @cloud mentioned on the first page, the Thai Consulate is located at Shuncheng Plaza. Conveniently situated above Wuyi Road (五一路) metro station on Line 3 (pink color).
Across the street, the lot under construction is Line 5 station (lime color). Slated for operation in June 2021. Line 3 and 5 will connect there under the Thai Consulate for future visa seekers to Land of Smiles.
Not just saturation of smaller grocery store presence, but the rise of JD and TMall online supermarkets. They offer promotions on top of already cheaper produce and items delivered to your door.
A few months ago I read Carrefour was selling minority China stake to JD, which already partners with Walmart. Hence the official Carrefour flagship (官方旗舰) presence on JD app. That explains Carrefour's half off every 99rmb purchase via JD app. This promotion was advertised above every cashier line at Carrefour a few weeks back.
Thanks guys. Nuremberg not working. Not Philippines, nor Darmstadt. We are in the dark.

Video: Zen and the art of patisserie with chef Igor Nataf
Posted byAgreed with dolphin completely. Well said. And if your mind meanders off track, just gently bring the focus back again. Repeat as much as necessary. No need to blame oneself when incessant thinking mind reverts back to default monkey mode.
Like preparing for a marathon, our mind needs training as well. You don't suddenly decide to race the Boston after waking up one morning, nor become a meditation zen master overnight.
That goes beyond mindful eating of croissants, but also preparing them.
I'm assuming that "zen" extends to Igor's kitchen. The very act of kneading the dough can be envisioned as massaging the cosmos. The flour contain seeds of wheat nurtured by photon particles from the Sun, waters & soil nutrients of Earth. The wheat flour is the embodiment of elements spawned by cosmic supernova explosions. Not just microorganisms involved in the leavening of bread, but the smaller quanta wave particle interactions of energy packets. To make a sourdough from scratch, you must first invent the universe (rip Carl Sagan).
Even washing the baking pans afterwards can be synonymous to bathing the Buddha himself. Being tasked with something so precious, one can't afford to indulge in mental chatter and risk dropping the baby Buddha. Rather, being in the 'zone' like a free climbing mountaineer. Feel the weight of the pan. Passing it from one hand to the next. A symbolic gesture of altruistic giving. Feel the cold or lukewarm water caressing your skin. The scent of the detergent. The zen of dish-washing can be as blissful as eating or debating pain campagnard.
