The Hash does lots of trails around Chenggong. If you join the group, many people can advise you about communities there.

I went there on my road bike a few months back but not the most comfortable of rides.

Walked from the temple in Old Chenggong to Dragon King temple on Saturday.
There are loads of great trails along the lake. Ideal for mountain bikes.

Most of the nicer areas are off limits now as it's dry season. The guards will stop you if you want to go up into the hills or forest areas.
