Hello Everyone,

I am looking for information on ethnic minority organisations, social groups or student groups in/around Kunming. It has been several years since I have been in the area and I am looking to return to carry out a bit of research on minority self-identification. I am not currently in China, but I am hoping to find some contacts I can speak with before I arrive or groups I can seek out once I get back to hit the ground running.

I know everyone on here is so helpful, I really appreciate all the insights you guys have

Hey everyone,

Does anybody have any information on the Shane English School here in Kunming. Is it a good school to work for? Do they treat the teachers well? Do they offer reasonable hours and pay? If you have any experience with the Shane please share! Any information would be appreciated!

does anybody know of any schools or training centers that hire native English teachers in the Simao-Pu'er area. I have been looking on-line but not getting any leads. If anyone has a name of a school or some contact info I would really appreciate it.
