May 24, the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Bureau published 22 measures for efficient service. Foreigners, who have won the Friendship Award given by the Chinese Government or Colorful Cloud Award given by the Yunnan Provincial Government, are qualified to apply for a 1 to 5 years’ residence permit in Yunnan. For eligible applications for work permit, the processing and approval time will be shortened from 15 working days to 10.
