Due to the speed GoKunming deleted my last post I will presume that this may not make it up much longer.

As I explained in my first post and I will explain again, a trend of ticket touting is evident on GoKunming's event page. In this case it regards the Hani Dance Show

I booked 2 tickets for this show for a cost of 80rmb with 10rmb booking fee, however I will not be watching the show. Story as follows:

After seeing Hani Dance Show on GoKunming I went to the theatre to book tickets, was referred to a third party internet company called Juooo in Shenzhen. Went online, regestered, gave my email for them to bombard me with adverts and booked two tickets total 80rmb plus 10rmb booking fee. Several days later received a text to say my tickets should be rebooked with another company. Called Juooo, they confirmed this was true. Called second company in Shanghai. They then quoted me 288RMB per ticket (576 total). I called back to Juoo who sad they would refund my ticket but not booking fee. Then recieved a call from Shanghai company saying that unless I confirmed the 288RMB tickets today this would rise to 320rmb tomorrow. Told them not interested.

This morning get two phonecalls from people I've never met offering me tickets for 270. Told them not to call again.

The advert is superfolous. Unless you want to be led down a garden path, pay booking fees to each company along the way and then give up and be no nearer watching a hani show than when you were in bed yestarday, then don't even attempt to get in touch with the people.

This is second time this has happened. First was the China vs Qatar game I saw advertised on here. Bought 120rmb tickets, was then told the price had gone up to 800 and I had to ad the difference or get a refund, minus booking fee of course.

Not sure what the set up is here. If GoKunming are against this they should make sure the ad is from the company/theatre directly. If they are complienet, then by all means carry on as normal.

Least that should be done is they should make sure no 3rd party is involved before putting the ad up to avoid BS like the above.

In most countries this would be illegal. Sure, this is China but I thought GoKunming would at least keep an eye out for such things.

Take the ad down, not my post!!!
