Where I could buy some western style mattresses (the ones provided at the apartment are 2cm thick with just the springs)?

I am here with my husband and 2 young children for 6 months to study Chinese and trying to get ourselves established. Have found an apartment near Keats school that is very minimally furnished with no wardrobes. Wanting to ask where I could buy:

- baby furniture (cot, high chair)
- household goods (kitchenware, rug, clothes horse, clothes rack to hang up clothes or drawers for clothes as no wardrobes at apartment, lamps, bed linen, pillows etc).
- toddler toys (bike, books, puzzles, cars and trains etc)
- bikes for adults

As only here for 6 months, looking for functional but not expensive stuff. If anyone could recommend a store and where to go, or if anyone has anything to sell, that would be great.

My husband and I, and our 2 young children (2 years and 6 months) are travelling to Kunming this Sunday, and we will be living there for 6 months and going to language school (at Keats School - dong feng dong lu). We are looking to rent a 3 bedroom apartment within walking distance. If anyone knows of where to look, that would be great. I'll also be looking to buy some baby stuff (cot, high chair) if anyone has any to sell.
