To tigertiger
I had one ages ago (paid original price) and a few years back I bought another one mostly out of nostalgia. Nevertheless they were powerful, used I think 1/3 liter of petrol and were able to work for 45 minutes with that amount. I timed that once :-)

A while back, German Democratic Republic produced petrol stove called Jewel. It costs 11.20 DM, equivalent of 1.2 Eur. Sure that changed "a bit" but is it still available. I bought one using eBay from Austria for 40 Eur, i.e. little bit over 300 RMB. similar one is here:

Forums > Travel Yunnan > getting to Sa Pa

Hi, what would be the fastest way getting to SaPa? Or Hekou at the China-Viet Nam border? Thank you. I will going from Xi'an most likely flying to Kunming first, but not necessarily.

It was interesting to read your posts. You are partially right about business in China. As far as I know it is not mandatory to have all businesses in China to be registered to Chinese nationals. Only if you want your company be considered as "Chinese" and have a chance to get government incentives. Singapore in worse from this point of view, the company HAS to be Singaporean at least 50% regardless. Singapore PR is considered Singaporean and during time I Was there, it was relatively easy to get the PR status.

But I do have a question to ask you. Which country do you consider the "good one"? US and China are apparently not your choices. Thank you.
