@jj123 it just seems this is will no longer be a discussion place for people who live in Kunming but a forum where I can just search for posted information? Debate is an issue obviously, if you don’t like ‘pissing’ competitions then what’s a forum for? A mix of posts with lengthy debate and some with good info seemed to work fine.
@tigertiger stay away from it! It might not cause early problems but overtime it starts to degenerate actions in laptop. Cost me another reinstall back in the day because slowly it would have more problems with loading.
Accidentally upvoted Ishmael’s ban when I wanted the opposite.
Seems pretty lame when someone gets banned just because they like to debate some issues beyond what most think is needed. Guess the way now is not to try and push too heavily on a point if someone disagrees, step back and say OK your way is best!
Romantic is not something this forum would be too helpful with lol, now conspiracy theories, double agents and internet all round dodgy doings... yes ;o)
Intercontinental is in a nice area with views of Dianchi lake and Western hills close by. The food is nice compared to what someone else mentioned and they have several different restaurants catering to what you may fancy. Thai, Malaysia and a buffet restaurant. Buffet tops out for me as they always have an Indian and British style section:o) last time me and my wife went on an anniversary they gave us flowers and some small romantic style cakes to take away so they’re thoughtful.
Uprooted and destroyed trees again now the weathers got colder. Is this Kunming's new policy? Plant some trees, when it gets cold uproot them, then a month or so later plant some trees again!
With the total earnings over the past four years being 7.6 billion dollars there's no way dishing out fines of about four hundred thousand dollars is going to make a dent. It just becomes part of their business expenses!
Bit harsh as I'm labeling all of them as trading the same way saying it like that but I'd bet it's quite a large chunk of them.
+1 For that BBC article, reading it the other day and thought it was one of those that can catch lots of peoples interest in a subject. Not just the telescope but the rest it goes on to discuss as well.
Been here several times lately and every time I've enjoyed my meal. Don't know why some others have said it was pricey, the price has always seemed fair to me :)
