There's a place in Renmin Zhong Lu where they train Submission wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. I train there often, and the coach is pretty legit (national champion or something). It's quite cheap as well. Only 400 rmb per month. You might want to check it out, if you're serious about martial arts.
Of course, if Kungfu is your thing, then I guess that's not a place for you.
This is the coach's number: 186 6903 4483 (he speaks English). I think he might even be that guy from Ring King you mentioned earlier.

A sizable portion of Yi-minority group has been converted to Christianity within the past few decades. As a general rule, they are taught to look down upon their own heritage as well as other "primitive" ethic cultures, including the Hans. It looks like this guy is one of them.

Posted byLoL. I'm from Maryland, born and raised. Kunming definitely have better weather than ML. In fact, far better than most U.S cities I've worked in.
This kid had learned during her studies that anti-Chinese remarks get you far in the States, so she capitalize on it.
