Forums > Living in Kunming > Z Visa andWorking Rights Thanks for your input yuantongsi, fact is this is a local Chinese company registered in Beijing with Kunming Sub Office. All documents are in order. The MD was operating the same business as a registered company in Thailand but moved here to set up the China company. In fact she is a kunming born girl.
As I say, we are worried that the expenses of hiring me would outweigh the benefits I could bring to the company although I am regarded as an expert on the equipment. Also concerned aboutthe red tape and officialdom
Forums > Living in Kunming > Z Visa andWorking Rights I am here in Kunming holding a F Visa, I am here to help set upacompany dealing with the importation of sophisticated Fire Fighting Equipment from Europe.and for the record I have registered my place of abode withthe Police.
It now seems as I f the China company want to offer me a full time position, but am concerned how to change my F Visa to Z and obtain the right to work certification. Any help please ? Please dont say the proposed Company can help as they have never done this before and in fact have just moved from BKK to Kunming to start this company.
Another issue is, will hiring me, bring up the company on the tax radar etc ?
