Can anyone share recent experience driving to Thailand? My family is considering driving to Chiang Mai in the fall instead of flying, as we'll be there a few months and it would simplify things having our own vehicle there. @AlPage48, any idea what the paperwork is like and if there's anything special we need to do before leaving Kunming?
There is a farm south of Kunming that sells raw and lightly pasteurized milk, and uses organic standards for their feed and dairy production. PM me if you want more information.
I appreciate the idea of taking in a dog from the animal shelter, but would need to look into that more since I have young kids in my home and wouldn't want a dog that may harm them. But back to my question, aside from others' opinions on what I should do, does anyone know honest dog breeders/sellers around the area?
To revive this thread, does anyone know a way to find a reputable breeder somewhere in the region (if such a thing exists)? We are looking to get a dog for our family but not too keen on getting one from a dog market at one of the 花鸟市场s
I saw the same place Dennis K is referring to a year ago...so if nothing's happened yet, I doubt it's really happening. It seems like someone found TGI Fridays construction zone vinyl and put it up there randomly.
Has anyone been to Luoping in the past few days? I may have missed it this year, but wondering if the canola flowers are still in bloom if I head that way this weekend.
Has anyone been to Puzhehei recently and can comment on what the accommodations and surrounding area is like now? And how it would compare to somewhere like Anshun? I'm looking to take the high speed train somewhere within 2 hours and those two places seem to be the best choice for a little getaway.
Pizza da Rocco is listed as having normal hours, so I went down there a few days ago, but it's no longer where it used to be. Does anyone know if they moved? Or did they close up?
