Who on Earth uses IT in relation to teaching? I come from the UK ~ Upper Kazakhstan and support WBA ~ Whitby Brewing Association ~ football team.

Haha. We both know that at awards time the owners of all of these schools, businesses, whatever, marshal their staff, friends, family, nodding acquaintances and passers by on a three line whip to vote, regardless of anything else. It's just a game - may the best player win!
This was one along similar lines. Sooner or later personalities override propriety and mudslinging starts on any topic where it's all about opinions.

I think my friend has heard stories, and is thus more worried, about major property theft (a van carting off anything that wasn't nailed down as soon as the coast was clear) Again, they might be tales of the 'my friend's uncle's cousin's neighbour said' variety,but anything heard often enough gains credence, I suppose.
