And yeah, it's a terrible joke. As if Lijiang is selling NATIONAL TREASURES from tourist shops.
Tried to post two bronze Qilin statuettes that I bought in Lijiang. They are about 6 inches tall, obviously tourist trap stuff.
I was told that I was not allowed to mail them because they are bronzeware and might be old. More specifically, the people at customs might think they are old. The girl at China Post knew they were souvenir stuff, but she still wasn't allowed to let them through.
Any suggestions as to what I can do?
