I don’t know the DNA test you are using but in general they are saliva based or slime from the inside of the mouth. Usual pretty straight forwards and no medical knowledge is required.
Normally these test come with clear instructions how to use them so simply wait for it to arrive and read the instructions.
In the unlikely case that qualified medical staff is required you can try:

The shops mentioned in the original posts from 12 years ago have long since gone. They never were real electronic component shops to start with but just sold some odd computer parts.
Even “Computer street” itself ( BeiMenJie) is only a shadow of what it used to be. As michael2015 said; all this stuff has gone online only.
One online shop that sells simple kits to make your own electronic gadgets is:

Their clocks are quite nice to make:

Flight carrying 132 crashes in Guangxi
By LUO WANGSHU | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2022-03-21 16:12
A China Eastern Airlines aircraft carrying 132 people crashed in Southern China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Monday, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said.
The plane was traveling from Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, to Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province. Air traffic controllers lost track of the plane in Wuzhou, Guangxi. The flight was carrying 123 passengers and nine crew members.
The administration initiated the nation's emergency response mechanism and dispatched a working group to the crash site to investigate. No information concerning casualties was available.
A village official who participated in the on-site rescue said the plane had completely disintegrated and he did not see remains of the victims at the scene, according to Chutian Metropolis Daily - a newspaper based in Wuhan, Hubei province.
A friend of mine pointed out that the info I presented above might not be applicable for all foreigners.
I have a permanent residence permit and I am therefore treated like a Chinese in these matters.
For people on other visa things might be different.

Yunnan Baiyao finally discloses toxic ingredient
Posted byAs the Tiger said. Depends on the dosage. Drinking water is a killer; put your head in a bucket full of it for 10 minutes and you'r dead.
Yunnan increases land area nearly ten percent
Posted byWho ones has been to Panzhihua will understand that Sichuan will be happy to get rid of it. Compared to Panzhihua, Anning and Kaiyuan looks like eco resorts.
I am pretty sure that by the second of April the land will be returned to Sichuan ;-)

New taxi placards target 'civility'
Posted byProblem with "Black Taxis" is that they all have fixed rides during rush hour. They have fixed agreement with people to pick them up at home bring them to their work and bring them back home again and that all during rush hours. So black taxis are not the solution to the problem.
New taxi placards target 'civility'
Posted byWith the limited amount of taxis in Kunming it is quite possible to make a living during non-rush-hour hours. I several times spend travel times exceeding at least twice the normal time during rush-hours. This means that more trips can be done during non-rush-hours thus the hourly income is higher (And the frustration lower) than during rush-hours. To remedy this a rush-hour surcharge could be introduced but then everybody would be complaining that things are to expensive.
