Has anybody been to Deqin recently? I am planning a trip up there in April but can't find updated infos about how long it takes to get there from Lijiang. I've heard the road has been renovated (at least the Shangrila-Lijiang part), does anybody know much about the Shangrila-Deqin section?
Hi everybody! I would like to get my leather jackets treated and cleaned, can anybody recommend a good place to go to?? I don't care if it's expensive, but I would like to find a place where they can do a proper job!thanks!
there's a new chinese school on Xuefulu called Huayang international school.they just opened a new branch here in kunming and they were having iscounts untill last month. not sure about now tho! im very happy withtheir teaching method, small classes, good teachers, very supportive for visa and any other problem you might have.check the listing on gikunming for details!
Have been studying at Huayang for a few months now. It's a great school: the staff has always been very helpful and kind, and has assisted me changing my visa and getting a new one. The building is brand new, which means everything is clean and bright - toilets included! (and well, studying in a nice environment helps a lot!). My teacher (Joy) is enthusiastic and her classes are always very interesting: apart from the book, she is designing our lessons according to the topics we are interested in (Chinese culture, philosophy, ...). This is what makes the difference to me from the other language schools in Kunming, it's not just "boya chinese", chengyu and "newspaper reading". I would definitely recommend studying here.
