I need to get a proper haircut and I am looking for advice! I remember a few months ago a friend of mine was telling me to go and see this hairdresser in the north of town, but I can't find her contact anymore.
My friend was saying this girl had lived in the West for many years, and her name was (not 100% sure!) Celina. Does anybody know her and has her contact number?! or the address??
If not, any advice about a good hairdresser in town would be appreciated.
Thanks!
yes,but the school you are working for has to apply for your foreign expert certificate+work permit in kunming first, and specify in the application you will then go to hk to get a visa.expect a long queue in hk! express service costs 300 more, but you can get it done in a day.
night bus/train to kunming, then you can take a bus directly to luang prabang.never did it myself, ive heard its a looong journey, but i guess it could work for you. buy the ticket at the bus station,ot through a travel agency (such as wondersofyunnan) or hostels (the hump, but be there before 5pm!)
laos visa is on the border, you will need pictures maybe.search "laos" in the articles or forums section....
flying to jinghong shouldn't be too expensive...
Have been studying at Huayang for a few months now. It's a great school: the staff has always been very helpful and kind, and has assisted me changing my visa and getting a new one. The building is brand new, which means everything is clean and bright - toilets included! (and well, studying in a nice environment helps a lot!). My teacher (Joy) is enthusiastic and her classes are always very interesting: apart from the book, she is designing our lessons according to the topics we are interested in (Chinese culture, philosophy, ...). This is what makes the difference to me from the other language schools in Kunming, it's not just "boya chinese", chengyu and "newspaper reading". I would definitely recommend studying here.
