Help me ? Like what ?
Eventually take me around to the coolest club(s) in town to see how things are now.
If you know people running some of these clubs and if they are willing to give me a go for an hour or two in one of these clubs, hey, why not ! I'll more than love doing that.
But I'm not looking for a job there, and I'll just be there for a few days. Playing in a venue would just be for the fun and to make the crowd move.

organize a party you say ? Yeah ! I'd be first in line, but I don't know anyone anymore in this city ! Probably best to continue this discussion through PM (private message) if we wanted to more seriously organize some kind of event, right ?

Ok beargirl, two good things for you :

1 - For Deepmix web radio, if you go here : www.deepmix.eu/select-e.php
you should be able to download by doing a right click on the links, and then select the "save as" option. that's how I downloaded their mixes anyway, so if ever it doesn't work that way, my best guess would be that it's because you're in China (but I think you should be able to download).

2 - For the Northern Exposure mixes, if you can't download these, the good news is that I'll be in Kunming on 27th - 28th, and I can transfer them to U on usb then !!!

There is one old series of mixes that you absolutely MUST have if you like trance :
The Northern Exposure Mixes by Sasha & John Digweed.

Yes indeed these mixes are now 15 years old already (1997) but believe me.
These are a very fine selection of excellent trance/progressive trax mixed in such a true master way, that it is most often impossible to know when and how are the transitions.

I would most recommend you the "east coast" and the "west coast" mixes. Absolute masterpieces.

This is truely something to have on cd, but that's no longer available (amazon maybe), but look for a download somewhere on the net.

In a different genre, you might wanna give a check at a web radio called www.deepmix.ru (or .eu too) they more specialize in minimal deephouse, but some of their mixes are really good, and all are downloadable.

i was sure someone would come up with such a comment.

But I kinda had to roll it out just in case someone of that era would come across the post and recognize.
Nothing like seing old chaps again after a long time.
However, I remember that at that time, turnover was quite regular and in a year's time, half the people were replaced by others.

But don't worry, following posts shouldn't be any close that long.
