you can call it "bias" but it is really happening, ozone layer is healing, this is science.
It is due to the long-term effect of the Montreal protocol that reduced the greenhouse gas emissions, and the agreement was reached thanks to the media attention to this issue that means also thanks to population participation and activism.
It's pretty depressing reading those cynical comments of people who lost their hope about everything.
When 30 years ago scientists correlated ozone hole with greenhouse gas emissions I'm sure many people had the same reaction of today's users, but now....
that would have been a very interesting thread if trolls wouldn't kill it with such useless remarks on what is bias and what's not.
in the same website users are rating restaurants, bars, chinese schools, according to their personal criterias,
i don't see why they shouldn't use the same parameters while rating employers (that can write their feedback as well helping users to have more ideas about future work cooperations)
@Alien If you are outside those categories that means you should be familiar with the market and know that every job is different, it depends on location, level of English of the kids, curriculum to develop etc.
So according to that you can always negotiate your price.
@ fixit the best way to burn a potential talented player is to let him play in the wrong position. the coach is the one who has the experience to choose the best position for everyone in the team. imagine every player having the authority to decide where and when to play, do you think that would be the most effective way? everybody is a genius at something but nobody is a genius at everything.
@fixit a good teacher is like a good father, he guides the student and let him find his way. every kid has some ability and lacks others, failing is also a way to let the student focus on something he is better at. imagine you are a football coach, a player is good in defense but he dreams to be a top striker, what kind of training would you design for him? the good world is the one where everybody can give his contribution according to his skill/ability, everyone is a genius at something.
i dont think it s bad planning, there are so many people in china that every new hub is welcome. think about spring festival where everything is congested. guilin kunming also can help tourism. by subway in 45 minutes passengers can get to nan pin jie, not bad.
This article is not reporting what really happened. The tourists signed a contract where they bought a "1 renminbi tour" including food, accomodation and visit to dali, lijiang, sichuanbanna and other destinations but the package required to spend from 3000 to 4000 yuan in shopping. Once in the locations the tourists refused to buy goods, on the bus the tour guide insulted them (she gets payed according to the money tourists spend in shopping) and one passenger took a video of her delivering it to the media.
Just an abuse case from multiple sides...
