what do you mean by "Christian" school? Catholic? Lutheran? Reformed? In the US, generic "christian" usually means baptists-pentecostals-generic low church, and usually pretty intense (maybe fanatical). As a Catholic, I'd be rather uneasy about my Catholic child being required to go to generic protestant services and perhaps be threatened with Hell if they didn't convert. Were I a Muslim, I'd be even more uneasy.
Try Fu De Lu Kou 福达路口. Buses 129、109、127、110、90 go there, from Yi-er-yi street. Get off the bus at Fu De Lu Kou, look right across the street, and it should be labelled 福德旧货市场. I'll admit it's been a while since I was last there, but go take a look. If it's gone, ask people where it's gone to and then tell us.
I bought my 2d hand bike near Da Guan market. Go across the bridge and to the main entrance, then turn right and look for a bunch of bicycles. If your Chinese is good enough, you might ask people about er shou zixingqe for sale.
Not to seem bossy, but you can download the most recent version of Ubuntu from the net quite easily (www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download). It's totally free and free from viruses as well. If an old timer like me can learn to use it, a young guy like you should have no problem.
