I will probably be in Dali next weekend. Never been there before but if you're interested in exploring it I am traveling on my own. I'm planning on finding some hot springs and maybe cycling through small towns around Erhai.
I would like to stay at a monastery or two while traveling through Yunnan. Most seem to be open to visitors only during the daytime. Does anyone know otherwise?
Does anyone have experience cycling through Yunnan and have suggestions for routes at this time of the year? I will be in Yunnan March 27-April 7 and looking to do some long distance rides between Dali-Lijian-TLG. Also looking for people who are interested in coming.
