But I don't think it's fair to be so critical of the DJs because very few people like Rock and Roll music let alone listen to it in China. It would be like trying to find a good yodelling club in the US.

oh, you said it, but nobody heard you.... so I guess that leaves more swill for the little piggies.
err, that was $4,800 per semester. By comparison I live alone in a modern single bedroom apartment, and basic living costs plus tuition is well under $2,000 a semester. If I always cooked at home then it probably wouldn't be much over $1,000. If you were to live in a shared apartment/dorm that they listed as $4,800 a semester then tuition plus rent would be less than $1,000 per semester.
I've never heard of the company, but their prices seem a bit outrageous. Just quickly looking on their website the lowest i could get for Kunming was about $4,8000 per semester. Must be some pretty good insurance and "guided tours" I guess. If you're not rich then I would contact the schools directly.
Well, they still refuse to give me a refund. They promised I could take the classes I wanted in July. But come August they wouldn't let me attend the classes I wanted. They forced me to pay tuition saying the police would send me home otherwise. Never arranged classes. Refused to refund my tuition when I changed schools after not having a single class. Only stating that the director responsible has been fired for it. Is this even legal?

Cheese tasted great. Much better than other pizza joints.
Excellent salad bar. Hamburgers are usually ok. The fancier dishes were a little lacking.
Giving it a 4 stars for the salad bar. If you were going there for "fine dining" then probably best to go somewhere else.
The store also has some nice imported food(though obviously Metro is cheaper for some things). The freshly baked goods are nice too.
Seems to be pretty hit or miss. First time I went there the pizza and hamburgers were great. 2nd time the pizza was terrible, and the hamburger was ok. 3rd time the pizza was ok, but people were smoking inside by the time we left. Guess the no smoking policy is not enforced.
Not bad. Pretty much what you would expect, but expensive for China.
Expensive, but decent bread. Other places are better, but not bad if you're in a hurry.
Kunming cracking down on 'uncivilized' behavior...again
Posted byThe traffic police will be the ones smoking in the corner and spitting.... while the cars will be parked down the center of the street, and cars going down the wrong way because they can't turn left due to said cars in the middle of the street.
Just saw it this week on a road just off of Beijing Lu.

Government undertaking aims to flush Dianchi clean
Posted byLast time I checked heavy pollutants can't be "flushed" clean. The title should be related to this: "the effort is expected to provide Kunming with another source of water in times of drought as well as generate hydropower."
Beijing Lu road construction to last nine more months
Posted byAnd they can move the bus stops into the bike lines like all the newly redone streets and free up two more lanes on Beijing Lu..... it's working so well. I heard the hospitals love it.
