It's the DNS server doing it. Ichina telecom has been doing it for years. Change your DNS server and it should go away.
The reason the .cn sites sometimes get redirected is the same. Your dns server your VPN is using probably doesn't have the site cached so asks a DNS server in China for the information.

But a quick search on Baidu found dozens of alternatives that shouldn't be blocked by China. Assuming the files aren't of a sensitive nature then that's going to be your hassle free bet.
Just search for 百度网盘,酷盘,百度云,微云。。。any major internet company in china + 云 or 网盘 should get plenty of results.
So why not just setup your own website or ftp server? Outside of China it starts at only a few dollars a month for around 20 GB of space.. Assuming these aren't huge files I don't imagine it costing too much money in China.

Cheese tasted great. Much better than other pizza joints.
Excellent salad bar. Hamburgers are usually ok. The fancier dishes were a little lacking.
Giving it a 4 stars for the salad bar. If you were going there for "fine dining" then probably best to go somewhere else.
The store also has some nice imported food(though obviously Metro is cheaper for some things). The freshly baked goods are nice too.
Seems to be pretty hit or miss. First time I went there the pizza and hamburgers were great. 2nd time the pizza was terrible, and the hamburger was ok. 3rd time the pizza was ok, but people were smoking inside by the time we left. Guess the no smoking policy is not enforced.
Not bad. Pretty much what you would expect, but expensive for China.
Expensive, but decent bread. Other places are better, but not bad if you're in a hurry.

Also in your neighborhood they are only supposed to use grey water or sewage for watering. That's why it always smells so bad.

Posted byI'll admit, I skipped most of the posting... But I thought smoking provided a "false" calming effect. In that the person feels much more anxious because they are addicted to nicotine. They would feel much less calm if they had never started smoking in the first place.

The police are too busy doing whatever they do. They don't even keep the crosswalks safe for little kids and the elderly from public buses.... yet they're going to take care of a pangolin? hah...
