hello everybody!
we bought a dog in kunming, wanted to bring him home to europe. we don't have the money right now, so we are searching for someone who would take care of our 8months year old border collie puppy for a while (months+). he is staying with my boyfriend's granny, but she is too old so she cannot take care of such a young and activ puppy.
so if you are interested or if you have anyone in mind or another idea, anything, just contact me here on gokunming or mail me under v.browneyes@gmx.at
taking a puppy to europe is more expensive than we thought (over 1.500€) so think about for a while before buying a dog (at least one who is too big to be in the cabine with you!!)
also maybe you have to go to beijing to get the blood taken there...like we did...and in beijing we found this GREAT company which is a company for animal transportation etc....so we went to beijing (it's also possible to just send your cat - they will take care of EVERYTHING and you can TRUST them!)...anyway, we went there and they took care of everything, so the took the blood, sent it to austria anc voilà everything's fine. we just have to wait a little bit more and then we'll send the dog to them, he'll stay there till they have all the documents and then they take him to the airport and send him here.
sounds expensive, but it is not that expensive, especially if you SHARE the price with someone. we are students, so we don't swim in money...but if you want to take your animal with you, you just have to do it somehow...
so please write me, i think we can really help you out on this one!!
we miss kunming and everybody we have met at the shifandaxue, so everybody enjoy your stay, because back home it will ALL be the SAME :)
hallo everybody!
i was in kunming for 7 months, but unfortunately i am back home again (austria).
me and my boyfriend bought a dog in kunming and we want to bring him here. unfortunately he has to stay there another month because ANIMALS (at least dogs) ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THE EUROPEAN UNION IF THEY ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 8 MONTHS!
i know A LOT about this, so please feel free to contact me under:

also maybe you cat, dog whatever needs to go to beijing to get the blood taken+send it to an EU APPROVED(!) laboratory...i can tell you it is VERY exhausting to do that stuff, but me and my boyfriend found a GREAT company in beijing, which did all the things for us...so they did the blood test and sent it to austria, vienna, there it was controlled and voilà, everything's fine. so we need to wait and then we send him to beijing by plane and from there we will stay in contact with the company, which will take care of him for several days and they will also do the DOCUMENTS (flight docs, health docs, etc) and then they will take our dog to the airport and send him here.
it is not cheap BUT not expensive either. especially if you SHARE it with somebody, like us. FORTUNATELY it's FROM china TO europe and not the other way, because it would be much more expensive. the woman of the company is very nice, we've already met her, so really please contact me --> i think we could really help you out on this one!
we miss kunming and send many many greetings to all of you guys!
enjoy it as long as you stay there, because at home...everything will be the same :)
i bought a dog, 4 months ago, and i want to take him with me to europe, austria...but the costums told me he has to be 8 months old, so i really want to find a place where i can put him in good hands for 4 months...i will pay for the food and everything, that is not the problem...the problem is just where to put him.
so if you like dogs and if you want to help me, because i don't wanna leave him here forever, i really want him with me in europe, then please write me.
if you have any questions (i bet you do), just ask me!
another problem is that i am leaving around the 10th of february...
thanks for everybody who reads this.
have a nice time.
