2 DAY OUTDOOR MUSIC FESTIVAL

In the weekend of the 30th and 31st of March there will be a Music Festival at Pu Zhe Hei. Apparently this is a super beautiful place and some even compare it too Yang Shuo.

There will be a lot of bands from Kunming both Chinese and Foreign. Like Ma yuan shi ren, Chou pi nan, Warhorse, Yankadi and Sea Loving Mammals. 6 DJ's are also on the list.

Because the information hasn't made it to the community yet I will post a link to our Douban band page and if people are interested to know more just have a look.

Anybody who wants to know more about the bands, dj's or any other festival related information just react on this thread and hopefully all the pieces will fall into place.

I had a great time on the festival! The coolest thing was that all the photographers and video-ers had full access to the stage. On some moments musicians were surrounded by them and you see them on a lot of pictures too. This freedom of shooting results in beautiful new angles of the bands that played the festival. I am very happy to see this kind of progress and it's definitely a trend worth continuing.

I like this Shan Ren song, what's it about? In Beijing I saw 2 very intimate little performances from them. It was so great and their way of playing brings so much good energy to the neighborhood. The video is well done, so Kris thanks a lot! Hugh and GoKunming of course too. A review of the 500 Li has also been put on China Music Radar this week.

That was such a nice weekend full with great music!
I really enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by

all the good music from Kunming and beyond.

And of course when I hear good music I wanna dance

and dance. So that's exactly what I did. Thanks Hugh
for the nice photo's and of course GoKunming for the
article. And where shall we go this weekend? Hmm,
I have heard Yankadi play's in the Hump, that should
be fun!
