I'm in Shangri-la and have heard about a ski lift on Shika Mt., does any one know anything about this place? I am a study abroad student searching for a research project idea, and I think researching Shika ski culture for two weeks could be pretty cool.

That sounds really cool. Did you bring a tent with you or were you able to do all of that hiking in one day?
Hey everyone, I am a University of Colorado at Boulder student studying abroad in Kunming. I am dying to hit the slopes once the season comes around. Does anyone know of any skiing possibilities in Yunnan? I don't have gear here so I would have to rent. Would be unbelievably stoked to hear a positive response.

Hey everyone, this is my first post! I have a free week from October 1st-Oct. 7th and was thinking of going to Lugu Lake to do some trekking. Anyone know any good routes? I have never been before. Anyone know of any good guesthouses as well? Thanks a lot.
