I agree that AliPay's a bit difficult to navigate without Chinese, but just as an update it works fine with Macs using Safari now (still not working with Firefox).
You can set up an AliPay account to send funds without having a bank account (this is what I have) and just put money on it at the post office. This is simple if you register through TaoBao. However, to RECEIVE money into your account, you have to give them your passport number and have a Chinese bank account. To register an Alipay-only account (no TaoBao account), they also require your passport number.
This guide is aimed towards TaoBao users but is relevant for Alipay itself:
"The problem with this is the US embassy ONLY issues baby passports one year at a time - meaning EVERY year you'll have to get a NEW baby passport (expensive) BEFORE you renew the baby's visa. You get to enjoy this hassle until the kid's 6yo (I think) - then they'll issue a FIVE year passport."
I'm not sure this is true. My (U.S.) 4-month old has a 5 year passport, it was the only option... never heard of a one-year passport for a baby.

Great date or family spot!
We were a little concerned as to whether it'd be worth the drive (especially because some of the bad reviews on here), but looking for something different tried it out anyway. We weren't disappointed!!
We did mini-golf and ice cream. Next time we might plan more time and do the two courses for 60 kuai, but as it was we enjoyed our hour of 2-person mini-golfing (40kuai each). Of course, with a group it would last much longer.
The staff was very attentive but not to the point of following us around. One Chinese man in particular spoke great English, and offered his help if needed.
Everything is obviously new, painted in bright colors, and there are several fun elements to the various holes like a jump over water, the typical pipes, a 'cave', waterfall, etc.
One bus stops right in front of the entrance, though we took a different route and didn't mind the walk. Someone with better attention to detail could tell you the route numbers.
Overall, we'd do it again! Great fun at a reasonable price.
