Will be ever Kunming for me the same as before? I am so wounded...

Taxi to Green Lake -Universities' area cost 80-100RMB. Taxi stop is right opposite of the exit, cars are turquoise color.

Bus to the center of city (Renmin lu) - 25RMB. But there are a few different shuttle buses.

I have opened account in ICBC - and have a few debit cards now. I do not carry big cash with me since. ICBC has a lot of branches all over city and all over China, I have no problems for 2 years. To open account you need passport and no money at all, later you can deposite money, that can be withdrawn through ATM from your international card.

My relatives are here in Kunming on F-visas, that will expire on Sep 18. In order to extend their visas for 3 months, they need to provide an official letter and some other documents from the company in Kunming, who will be their local recipient organization. As I understood, it can be not necessary the same organization, that originally invited them. And not any organization can do it.

If anybody can advise, where to go for that, since their first company is out of the question? If you can help, contact please private ASAP through response form.

I am looking for inexpensive high school in English for my son. Is there such in Kunming?
