Are you saying that if you have a desktop using China Telecom internet connection, they do not allow you to use a router to a laptop elesewhere in the apartment? Sorry if I misunderstand.

WuHua District of Kunming? Wondering about bus transportation out that way? Weather about same as center-city Kunming? Googled it and it looked like it had some industrial type businesses out that way.
