Kunming's classic hangout for the local desperados and the passing trade that subsidizes happy hour. Unmissable and unsurpassed.

Disagree with last one! Great staff! Really good food! Best beef burgers in town! Sometimes it can get a bit slow but staff always will remind you if you have to wait a bit longer. And of course good classic tunes, cant listen to shitty music in other places in kunming, in O'rileys they usualy play some really good old rock tunes at the second floor.... and pool table of course. Best damn bar in kunming 100% if you have a big company.

A bit of staff training (or exchange) wouldn't do any harm... annoyingly ignorant behaviour of the waiter, who prefers to play with his phone instead of serving the guests. The ordered dish (once it came after about 25 minutes) was not correct and eventually tasted boring. Cannot be that hard guys, you're not the only burger providers in town anymore...

Not as good as the other version I used to go to on Xingyuan Road, but certainly not bad. Can accommodate huge groups and smaller parties too. The food is good and the prices completely reasonable. Just not exceptional.

Since a while my favorite bar here. Very cozy and have nice, friendly staff.
Good place have long good conversations with german and chinese beer, price is good.

Almost every time I went there had life music.
Highly recommended.

Great Hostel, I stayed there for 8 days. Loved to play billiard with the young and friendly staff.

Maybe they should provide some toilet paper (for people arrive china freshly and don't know its always good to have your own).
And the coffee was too light( but I don't want to be a pendant).

I give five stars because I really felt comfortable and welcome.

Basic but consistently delicious Yunnan-style dishes. Decor? Meh. But the service is fine, the portions quite large and three people can eat a great dinner for under 100 yuan (including beer). Right now my go-to when I can't take any more noodles.

Made it to barfly for the first time today and can say that the place is great. Had an awesome vegetarian mushroom pie with a hearty portion of potatoes and peas. Sitting in with customers and owners really felt like home. great place to have a good meal, a refreshing draft beer and make some new friends. Highly recommend!

If you love American food, thats the place to go. But if you love some proper gourmet food, would not recommend. Had some spaghetti there. That's just less than average and the price is ridiculous!
