One of the best things about the Prague Cafe are its staff. They are extremely kind and pleasant! And they always seem remember how I like my food which is extremely delightful. The atmosphere is very stylistic and the furniture very comfortable. It is also extremely clean. Finally, the food is also very good and the prices pretty reasonable.

While it is not even close to authentic Japanese food, this place has the best Japanese food I have eaten in Kunming. The prices are also fairly reasonable.

I really liked this cafe because (1) the prices are reasonable, (2) the food is good, and (3) the staff there are very nice, (4) they didn't have WiFi (aka WiFri or "Why Fry?"). However, recently due to their installation of WiFri - which makes me feel quite ill - I stopped frequenting the place.

I would just say it depends what you are looking for from Chapter One.

The food is not great and it's often hard to find a fuwuyuan to order another beer, but there is no place better than Chapter 1 to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night (they're even showing the Rugby World Cup!), or to spend an afternoon studying.

Don't order a cup of coffee, though.

If you must eat there, the hamburgers are usually decent, but the fries are soggy.

As far as drinks go, as Jared mentioned they have Beer Lao (a bit expensive, but good), but I prefer the wine by the glass, which is often hard to find in Kunming.

The service is not the best, but the food more than makes up for it.

I would especially recommend the Mexican food (the cheese quesadilla and salsa is only 14 kuai!), but any of the bagel sandwiches, breakfast meals, pastas, etc. are good.

The ice cream is also great and you can't go wrong for only 10 kuai!

The Happy Hour specials are great too.

Beware that Salvador's is often totally packed during the main dinner rush, though.

You might want to have a back up plan.

I have always had a good experience at Salvador's.

The atmosphere and food is pretty good.

The customer service can be hit and miss at times, but the nice fuwuyuans make up with it with their smiles.

The work environment is obviously nice for them.

Some suggestions would be to clean the bathroom more regularly and maybe a little better lighting to make it easier to study!

There is no doubt that Silver Spoon is the best western restaurant in Kunming, hands down, put a fork in it.

Excellent salads and a ruben to make you want to drive back the States and slap your mom.

Good food. Good ambience. We had the 2 person set meal and mango lassi. Could tone down the spices a little bit; my mouth was on fire.

I have found this place to be excellent in customer service and food.

The manager is always attentive and ensures that you will get the right order.

I have found this place to be sub-par in customer service and food quality.

The three times i have eaten there, I have had to repeatedly question the fuwuyuans where my food was.

If you don't order at the front desk, forget about it.

The food is bad in general.

The last time I was there, thinking I would give them a "third" chance, I ordered the chicken salad sandwich.

It was more of a mayonnaise sandwich.

I expect more from a western restaurant.
