I had two slices of the cake last week, and its gaven by one of the guesthouse customers. For me, the cake was great.

wonderful food, wonderful service, and wonderful real French chef making tasty treats and full meals.

The place looks nice, the flavour is far from a Chinese bakery shop, it tasted very close to a real french patisserie, I had the chocolate bread and while the flavour was good, it was a bit dry, it did not taste so fresh, so for 10/12 Kuai I expected a bit better, not disappointed but not surprised.

The prices of some small cakes are a bit overpriced too.

Good bakery, hopefully the keep the prices and don't go crazy like some bakeries in Kunming asking 50 Kuai for a one bite cake.

Caesar's Salad and one of their fresh fruit flavored teas - always my favorite culinary delight here (see my review 6 months ago).

Don't forget to pick up a few freshly baked bread rolls, pastries etc on the way out.

For a NO-SMOKING designated environment - comfortable, quiet, elegant, for a bistro-ish experience.

Had a great dinner here the other night. Superb food and service and a friendly crowd. First time at Vincent's new place. Will definitely be back.
