Bright Education Center is an English training school for Chinese kids and teenagers. Located beside Green Lake, the school provides quality English training programs to middle-class Chinese families. The majority of our faculty are native English speakers.

We are hiring!

We are currently seeking native English speakers as part-time or full-time teachers. We offer competitive salaries and benefit packages depending on an applicant's qualifications.

Interested applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
1. Possesses a university degree or above.
2. Enjoys teaching kids and teenagers.
3. Can stay in Kunming for at least one year.
4. Has a TESOL Certificate or similar certification.

For a qualified full-time teacher, we provide the following benefits:
• A work visa.
• A monthly salary between 7,000 to 8,000 RMB.
• A free fully-furnished studio or a one bedroom apt. is provided (internet service included). The studio or one-bedroom apt. is within 10 minutes walk to the school.
• Upon completion of a one-year contract, the full-time foreign teacher will receive a yearly bonus of 10,000 RMB.
• Health insurance is covered by the school.
• Twenty-day paid vacation per year (aside from national holidays).

Full-time teachers are expected to work with their Chinese partners to carry out teaching tasks. The maximum workload per week is 20 teaching hours. We work from Wednesdays through Sundays and have Mondays and Tuesdays off.

For part-time teachers, we offer 120-160 RMB/teaching hour depending on qualifications and teaching subjects.
